And the winner is ....

Last night was the Pride of Essex Awards evening 2018 which was held in Anglia Ruskin in Chelmsford. We were notified that we were finalists and duly sent our representatives along to the evening. Around 7.30pm, I received a message to say that we hadn't won anything .... really? I asked if it was all over? Ten minutes later, I received another message which included these images .....

Last night, I was speechless. Now sleepless as well, I am amazed and so very proud of everything that we have achieved at the Maldon Orchestra. Next year will be our Platinum Anniversary (70th) and we will be marking the occasion in a very special way. Thanks go to everyone who have helped to make the Maldon Orchestra the success that we already knew it was.
