We are delighted to receive the news that Neil Fisher of the Maldon Drama Group has received a Pride of Maldon Award 2019 Arts and Culture in the Community for his production of Hope Flowers. The Maldon Orchestra were invited to provide the music for Hope Flowers - a commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice - and it proved to be a challenging yet hugely rewarding experience. Neil wrote, produced, directed and performed in the show which was a single, one-off production on the eve of the Anniversary. The sell-out show held at the Plume Academy, Maldon was a huge success, raising over £3000 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Well done Neil.
