Thank you for the music!

Thirty five musicians from the Maldon Orchestra made the journey to the Hawthorns Retirement Complex in Braintree on Sunday 1st September to play to the residents. This concert marked the last performance for one of the members, Molly who has been a member of the Orchestra for over 30 years and is now actually a resident at the Hawthorns along with her husband, Tony.

The music programme was drawn from the two recent Diamond Anniversary concerts held in July and included the vocal talents of Mr Colin Bellett. A small presentation was made to Molly on behalf of all the members the Orchestra to say thank you for all the wonderful times and wishing her a very happy retirement.
