Stellar concert raises £760

We performed a concert entitled Space and Beyond to an audience of over a hundred people on Friday 4th May at St Leonard’s Church, Southminster. With a packed program of music which ranged from On the Beautiful Blue Danube, Mars, Jupiter through to Space Oddity, Dr Who and Music from Apollo 13, the 37-strong Orchestra (a new record) entertained, educated and enthralled a very appreciative audience. The concert was thoroughly enjoyed by all including some audience members who had flown in from Prague especially to attend the concert, and raised a final total of £760 for St Leonard’s Church and Christ Church, Latchingdon.
