Funding

Maldon Youth Orchestra is a registered charity that keeps fees to its members low so that it can encourage as many children into music as possible. Therefore, grants, corporate sponsorship and charitable donations are key sources of revenue for MYO. Through a partnership with MYO companies are associating themselves with youth, education, talent and the pursuit of creativity.

MYO is keen to engage with local corporate sponsors, which address their long-term objectives enhancing the company's profile or social responsibility agenda whilst providing valuable funding for the orchestra's future.

The orchestra is keen to increase the instruments it owns and to be able to provide opportunities for people to play some of the 'rare and endangered species' (such as oboe, bassoon, cello, double bass and tuba's). Therefore any donations of instruments would be gratefully received.
